About Brian Meier
I was born in the city of Waukesha, Wisconsin and have lived in southeast Wisconsin for most of my life. I have been married for 21 years to my wonderful wife Jennifer Meier. Together we are raising three children, each of whom are currently attending Waukesha public schools.
We moved home to Waukesha four years ago to live in a quiet, safe community with good schools, friendly neighbors and a house we would enjoy living in for many years to come. Waukesha delivered on our checklist, we are very happy to live and thrive in this community.
My career background is in Mechanical Engineering. I have been a mechanical designer, engineering, manager and now director locally in Southeast Wisconsin for 25 years. I am a very analytical thinker that enjoys finding the root cause of failures and solving them. I have been managing employees for five years and directing projects, working with vendors and customers my entire career. Recent years I have traveled globally to nearly every continent to collaborate with colleagues, meet with vendors and solve problems for customers. The cultural experiences of these travels are hard to describe as they are full of stories and lessons learned. Throughout my career, I continue to challenge myself to learn, to grow, to be better at what I do. At this point I have decided to challenge myself to become an elected official for the County Board of Waukesha. I believe that with your help in voting for me, I will add my experience, my skillset, and critical thinking to solve problems and enhance Waukesha County community.
My interest in running for Waukesha County Supervisor started by wanting to get involved and contribute positively to the community. I'm motivated in this by giving to the next generation, the freedoms, liberties, safety, and opportunities that were provided to me.

I believe local government has the greatest impact on people and the surrounding community. Local government can affect the wellbeing of our community above and beyond how state and federal governments can affect us. Therefore, my interest is focused on local government activities, and how I can contribute to the sustainability of what Waukesha County is known for; a well balanced quality of life.
